Village to discontinue vehicle stickers

Mayor Michael Glotz and Clerk Nancy O’Connor are pleased to announce that the Village of Tinley Park’s vehicle sticker program is being discontinued. Residents are no longer required to purchase a vehicle sticker. The ordinance mandating these stickers, which dates back to 1965, was rescinded at the Feb. 21 Village Board meeting.

Residents who would still like something to display on their vehicles can pick up a free sticker (shown below) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Monday, April 3 at Tinley Park Village Hall, 16250 S. Oak Park Ave., or at the Tinley Park Police Department,7850 W. 183rd St. Please bring your vehicle's registration when picking up your free sticker.
