Safe transactions at TPPD

Residents looking for a safe, neutral place to conduct personal transactions such as Craigslist sales or the private sale or purchase of a car are encouraged to use the parking lot or lobby of the Tinley Park Police Department, 7850 W. 183rd St. Both are available at any time, seven days a week.
The Tinley Park Police Department is strictly providing a safe location and will not facilitate or otherwise be associated in any way with any transaction occurring between private parties. Sellers and buyers should refrain from bringing large items into the police station.
