Orland Township is offering bus service to the Tinley Park Convention Center for Orland Township seniors who have already made an appointment to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Usually the Convention Center is out of township and incurs an additional cost, but for now Orland Township will charge the in-township rate of $3 one way and $6 round-trip. Rides are available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. To get a ride, call the Orland Township Senior Transportation Department at (708) 403-4222.

Similarly, Bremen Township is offering its Senior Wheels service to township residents who have made vaccination appointments at the Convention Center. Rides are available from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and cost $2 one way and $4 round-trip. Since rides are offered in sedans, the number of seniors who can ride at one time is limited, and all riders must be from the same household. Those who are handicapped and/or in a wheelchair can use the Bremen Township bus service from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays.
