- Prepare your business plan by setting up an appointment with an Illinois Small Business Development Center. Visit the DCEO website to learn more about its services and find an SBDC near you.
- Make an appointment with the Tinley Park Community Development Department to review real estate, planning, financing, and building requirements, as well as possible incentives. Call (708) 444-5100 for more details.
- Before you buy a building, buy a property, or sign a lease, complete the required Change of Use Application and bring it to the Building Division at Tinley Park Village Hall, 16250 S. Oak Park Ave.
- Prior to opening a business, you will be required to complete a Change of Use Application, arrange for Village building inspection, present any tenant build-out, building improvement, or construction plans for review and approval, purchase any needed building permits, purchase a business license, and obtain a Certificate of Occupancy.
