The Village utilizes the new CodeRED community notification system
to send time-sensitive emergency alerts and critical information to Village staff, residents and businesses. The system also sends non-emergency information such as road closures and trash collection schedule changes.
Notification is customized, allowing residents to choose which alerts they’d like to sign up for and how they would prefer to receive them. Residents can choose several different methods, including landline, cell phone, email, text message, TTY or a combination of any of the above.
Residents can also take advantage of the CodeRED Mobile Alert app
, which is available to anyone with a mobile device, on the App Store
or Google Play
Please note that if you signed up for City Watch, you will have to sign up again for CodeRED.
Residential Registration Feature
CodeRED’s Residential Registration Feature is a new enhancement to the CodeRED Community Notification Enrollment (CNE) page that allows residents to enroll using their login credentials from Google, Facebook or Twitter. The new CNE Single Sign-On (SSO
) feature streamlines the registration process and makes it easier for residents to access their account to make changes later. Please note that this update will not affect current registrations; only new registrations will have this option.
