The Village of Tinley Park Clerk's Office is available to provide Notary Public services to area residents. The Village of Tinley Park Notaries can only witness the identity of a person for a specific purpose, which is typically associated with the signing of documents.  An Illinois Notary Public does not provide any legal advise or other services.  Due to additional legal requirements, the Notary Publics at the Village of Tinley Park cannot notarize documents associated with the transfer of real estate.  Documents requiring the witness of a Notary Public cannot be signed before seeing the Notary Public.  The individual whose signature requires the witness of a Notary must bring photo identification and be physically present before the Notary at the time the document is signed.
