Divisions
The Tinley Park Police Department is divided into four divisions:

  • Investigations - Provides in-depth background analysis of illegal activities, programs, and crimes

  • Patrol - Comprised of seven subunits that work together to form the department's special sections and day-to-day street operations services

  • Records - Oversees all record-keeping services for the department

  • Telecommunications - Acts as a first point of contact for incoming phone calls and service requests and issues official department statements
