The Planning and Zoning Department’s main focus is land development through the implementation of the Comprehensive Land Plan and zoning and subdivision regulations. This department works closely with the Board of Trustees, Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals in the review and public hearing process for requests for variations, special use requests, rezoning, annexation and plats of subdivision for property, as well as site plans for commercial and industrial development.
