    Join us for a Mardi Gras celebration. Each person attending the concert must register individually. If someone in your party is in need of wheelchair accommodations, please inform a staff member when registering. The Sunday Afternoon Concert Series is sponsored by the Friends of the Tinley Park Public Library. Doors open at 1:30 pm for the performance. Registrants must obtain a ticket from the registration table no later than 10 minutes before the scheduled performance. Unclaimed reservations will be released at 1:50 pm.

    Facilitated by successful Chicago author and writing teacher Barbara Gregorich, each meeting will focus on one aspect of writing, with discussion, examples, questions and give-and-take interactions that meet the needs of the participants. Also included is time for two to three critiques of pieces written by group members. Open to writers of adult fiction and nonfiction, writers of poetry, and writers of children’s books. Registration is not required, and the program is for those age 18 and older.
